My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet 1-year-old female weighs between 45 and 50 pounds and has a medium energy level, making her a great fit for both relaxed and active households.

She is potty trained and walks comfortably on a leash, making outings enjoyable and easy. While her crate training is still in progress, she listens well and seems to have had some prior training—she responds quickly to commands like sit, down, lay down, and go/out.

She has been around children ages 10 and 15 and is gentle, affectionate, and calm with them. Although she hasn`t yet had the opportunity to meet other dogs, she gets along well with the house cat, showing no interest and simply letting it go about its day.

Her personality is full of joy and love—she thrives on human connection and wants nothing more than to be your loyal companion. Attentive, eager to bond, and affectionate, she’s ready to become someone`s best friend. If you`re looking for a devoted and loving pup, she might just be the one.

She is located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
