Wynn is a 3-year-old, 65-lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give. This wonderful companion is ready to be your loyal best friend!
While she can be a little shy when you first meet, she warms up quickly and becomes a devoted shadow who loves to be close to her person. Wynn absolutely loves her walks! She is still polishing her leash manners and will thrive with a patient guide as she continues to learn.
Her energy is lower to average, also making her a relaxed companion indoors. She’s the perfect movie night co-pilot, happy to snuggle up with a bully stick. Car rides can still be a bit intimidating, but she’s gaining confidence.
Wynn is good with some dogs and adores human attention. She previously lived on a property with cats and appeared non-reactive toward them and local wildlife (like raccoons), but as always, proper, slow introductions would be essential in a home with feline friends.

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️.
