Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Deuce 🖤🐾
DEUCE is a one-year-old black Lab mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit! Found as a stray in rural Oklahoma, this handsome guy is ready to trade his lonely days for a forever home full of love, fun, and adventure.
DEUCE is very sweet, social, and playful. He adores other dogs and does a great job responding to cues when playtime gets a little too exciting—he just loves having fun! He’s a big fan of balls, squeaky toys, and anything that keeps him moving.
True to his Lab roots, DEUCE loves the water and would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys walking, hiking, or outdoor adventures. He’s fantastic with people but still has plenty of puppy energy, so he’ll do best with someone who can keep up with his zest for life.
🐶 Dog-friendly: Yes!
🐱 Cat-tested: He’s done well with a very dog-savvy cat. Because of his playful nature, slow and thoughtful introductions are recommended with other cats.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and energetic companion who’s always ready for the next adventure, DEUCE might be your perfect match!

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
