My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Corduroy is a 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who was recently transferred from our neighbors at SF Animal Care & Control and he’s ready to find his new home! This sweet boy has an outgoing personality that makes him a joy to be around.

Whether he’s greeting new friends or relaxing by your side, Corduroy`s goofy and friendly nature shines through. He’s the kind of companion who’s happy to join you for a stroll, lounge beside you during quiet moments, or go on a new adventure together. Corduroy is looking for a loving home where he can share his affectionate spirit and young adult charm. Come meet him—you might just find your new best friend!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
