He is attentive and seeks reassurance from his handler. He walks on a leash and listens to his name, though he may pull at times and benefit from continued leash training. He takes treats gently and is treat-motivated, which will be helpful for ongoing training.
He shows assertive behavior at the fence with other dogs. In the foster home Pedro chased cats but exhibited good recall. He may be his most happiest self not sharing his people with other pets. Take the Pet Home
Adopt and the pet is legally yours! Or choose to "slumber party" which is a trial adoption. You will have up to two weeks to decide.

Pay Fee
The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee.

All pets are spayed/neutered, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), and Cats over 6months of age are tested for FeLV and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Dogs over 6 months of age are tested for heartworm disease. If the dog is heartworm positive, the treatment will be provided by our Veterinarian, at no cost to the adopter, sponsored by our generous community partner Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP).
