My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is an easygoing and sweet 3 year old Shih Tzu mix who is ready to find his forever home! This cutie came to us from our pals at Rescued Pets Movement all the way down in Carlsbad, New Mexico and we can`t wait to help connect him to his forever family here in Colorado! Oreo is a mellow and laid-back boy who likes to hang out and be near you, he is going to be an awesome little lap dog! We are still getting to know Oreo and find all about him but as he tells us more about himself we will be sure to update you! So far Oreo seems to do well with other friendly dogs both big and small and we think he may enjoy a home with a compatible canine companion. Oreo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Don`t miss out on your chance to meet this dapper little guy!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
