My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Curly is a sweet and spunky 3 month old `Chiweenie` puppy who is looking for love! This adorable little guy came to us with his siblings all the way from New Mexico and he is ready to find his brand new forever family here in the mountains! Curly may be a small guy, but he has a great big personality and lots of love to share! Curly should do well in a home with polite kids, other friendly dogs, and sweet kitties! As with all of our puppies; we recommend Curly goes to a home that understands the need for ongoing socialization and positive reinforcement based training so he grows up into the best boy he can be! Curly is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his age appropriate puppy vaccines, and is all ready to go home with you today!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
