Shoestring is an adorable and silly 3 month old `Chiweenie` mix who is looking for a loving forever family to call his very own. This fun and bashful boy came to our shelter all the way from Carlsbad, New Mexico in hopes to find his new family here in Colorado! Shoestring is a playful pup who acts a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly and loves to romp and play! This cutie has big floppy ears and an even bigger heart that he can`t wait to share! We think Shoestring would do fine in a home with polite kids, other friendly dogs, and nice cats! As with all of our puppies; Shoestring should go to a home with humans who understand the importance of continued socialization and positive reinforcement based training so he can grow up to be a happy and well adjusted lil dog! Cats are $70.00, kittens are $100. Dogs are $100.00 and puppies are $150. This includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, microchips, a voucher for a free health exam at a local vet. We require photo identification and required adoption paperwork. You may take your new pet home the same day. There is a 7 day grace period for a refund to make sure that the animal is a fit for your household.

We are located at 1400 Fairgrounds Rd. in Eagle, Colorado. Our shelter is open from 10 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays. We would love to introduce you to our adoptable pets and help you meet your new best friend!

We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly.
