My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“A true friend leaves paw prints on your heart.” This makes us think of our lovely Lady. She is 18 months old and weighs 40 pounds, If you want to adopt a medium sized dog, Lady could be the one!

Why we love her: Lady has the tenderest of hearts and the gentlest of souls. She is so graceful and has an aura of elegance about her.

One of our volunteers says:"She is beyond sweet and so gentle that you fall in love with her immediately!"

Lady is a well mannered companion on her daily walks and has such a good time exploring the trails on our beautiful shelter grounds. She also enjoys outings in the fenced yard.

Most of all, Lady wants to be your favorite cuddle buddy. She will stand up to be hugged and adores being petted and loved on.

Lady is going to be such a devoted companion for the family lucky enough to take her home!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
