Meet Dumpling! Dumpling is a sweet and very affectionate lady. Getting snuggles and being pet is Dumpling's favorite activity. She's aware that this activity requires all the work from you while she just exists, and she's okay with that. She's saving her energy for the zoomies she will get running in the yard or playing with other dogs.
Speaking of other dogs, Dumpling is GREAT with dogs of all ages and sizes. That goes for humans, too - if you're big enough to pet her, you're big enough to be best friends with. Due to her friendliness with other dogs and kids, we expect she'd do wonderfully with cats friends as well.
Dumpling is potty trained and is great at giving cues when she needs to go outside. She is quiet in her kennel, but currently needs to be picked up to be put in her kennel.
If you are looking for a dog who will return every ounce of love you put into her, look no further.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
