My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl and Opal are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hi! I’m Pearl, and yes, that sound you hear might be me playing with water. I love it. Watching my water bowl get filled? Magical. Running faucet? Absolutely fascinating. If there’s water involved, I’m interested.
I’m playful, curious, and always exploring, but I’m also a big fan of lap snuggles once I’ve satisfied my curiosity. Sparkly ball toys are my favorite, though I’ll happily join in on wand toy games with my siblings.
I eat a little more slowly than the others, so my humans make sure I get my fair share at meals. I get along wonderfully with other cats, children, and people in general. I use the litter box like a pro and enjoy both cardboard and sisal scratching posts.
Most importantly, I’m bonded with my sister Opal, and we must be adopted together. We’re a matched set, like moonlight and pearls, and life is better when we’re side by side.
Have space in your home and heart for 3 kittens? See our brother Jasper's posting and adopt all of us, we wouldn't say "no!"

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
