My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angus is a sweet female Terrier mix (perhaps 10+ years old) who was surrendered by her owner on December 22, 2025.

Angus has a black short-haired coat with a patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable frosty face that will surely melt your heart when she looks up at you through cloudy eyes.

We took first photos of Angus on December 22nd shortly after her arrival while she was snuggled up on a brightly-colored red/white/blue quilt .. And fell in love with her the moment we laid eyes on this little senior citizen.

Angus weighs 31.2 lbs. She has several issues which come with the privilege of growing older and appears to be vision- and hearing impaired. Angus likely has some arthritis/joint pains, and she has several skin tags on her belly.

Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Miley Kiggans for spending time with Angus on December 27th so that we could snap a few pictures of Angus in the lobby of our shelter.

Angus is currently enjoying a temporary home in the front office so that she can relax in a more quiet home-like atmosphere with a soft plush bed/blankets instead of being confined to a small floor crate.
