These two adorable brother bunnies were named after the beloved characters from The Fairly OddParents, and they’re ready to star in a loving home of their own! Crimson Chin and Juandissimo are young, social rabbits who enjoy being around people and exploring their surroundings together. Like many young bunnies, they may need a little time to settle in and warm up after adoption, but once they’re comfortable, their friendly and curious personalities really shine. If you’re looking for a dynamic duo with fun names, sweet personalities, and lots of potential, Crimson Chin and Juandissimo could be the perfect pair to join your family
Adoption fees for rabbits is $75 for a single or a pair, and include veterinary exam and spay/neuter.
As most of our small animals are in fostercare, if you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about this pet, the best way to start the process is to call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us at springfield@dakinhumane.org. If you already have a cage, please send a picture of your cage when you inquire.

Rabbits typically live 8-10 years.
Housing requirements: Most housing sold at pet stores is too small for small pets. They are going to be spending most of their lives inside their cage; your housing must be as large as the below or larger (bigger is always better!) in order to adopt this pet.
-For rabbits we recommend x-pens/C&C type caging. Expect to spend around $100 on housing.
-Minimum requirements for enclosed spaces is 10 sq. ft. for 1-2 rabbits.
-No wire floors please - they are bad for bunnies’ feet
- Check in with Dakin to see if there are any available housing options in their Thrift Shop!

Rabbits are a social species, meaning they usually enjoy the company of their own kind. If there are two names listed together (eg Peanut Butter w/Jelly), that means that the two animals are a bonded pair of friends, and must be adopted together.
-Got a single at home you’re looking for a friend for? Any animal listed alone on our website is a single and a great candidate
-A new friend will need a separate cage until friendship has been established
-Our rabbits are all spayed/neutered at 4 months of age; as long as one or both rabbits are neutered, mixing genders is okay.
-It takes time and patience to let the rabbits make friends with each other.
