Meet Cleo, a young, spirited dog with a heart full of love. Despite her shyness, she`s a curious soul, always eager to explore and learn. Cleo`s independent nature makes her a great companion for adventures, yet she`s also the perfect lap dog, ready to cuddle at a moment`s notice. She weighs 20 pounds and likes agility, fetch, running, toys, walks, water, and chase. While she`s still learning the ropes and can be a bit jumpy and likes to chew, her affectionate and excitable personality shines through. She`ll need your help with leash walking and house training because both are new to her. With a bit of training, Cleo will undoubtedly become the loyal and loving family member you`ve been looking for. Cleo prefers to be the star among dogs and may show a dominant side in their company and she enjoys roughhousing. She is also quite possessive of her toys, food, and space. You should probably bring your dog to meet her. She was adopted and returned because was too active for the older dogs in the home. She behaved well around the children in her finder`s home but her timidity and resource guarding are leading us to require that children in the home be at least nine years old. Despite these quirks, Cleo`s mellow nature shines through, making her an ideal pet for someone who appreciates a spirited yet loving friend. Adopt lovable Cleo and discover the joy of a loyal and lively companion. (tw 1/8/2026)
