My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hanna! 🤍🐾
Hanna is a stunning 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute weighing about 70 pounds, with a sweet, friendly personality and a gentle nature. This nice girl enjoys people and would make a wonderful companion for a family familiar with—or eager to learn about—the needs of her breed.

As an Alaskan Malamute, Hanna will need regular grooming for life. Her thick, beautiful coat requires consistent brushing and routine grooming to keep her healthy and comfortable, so adopters should be prepared for that ongoing commitment. ✨

Hanna is ready for her forever home—a loving family who will provide the care, structure, and affection she deserves, and who will enjoy sharing life with such a beautiful, loyal girl. 🐶

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
