Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marigold is a beautiful 1-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love and hope. She’s been waiting patiently for her hero—the special person or family who will see her, choose her, and give her the forever home she deserves.
At just a year old, Marigold has the perfect blend of youthful energy and growing maturity. She’s eager to learn, ready for adventures, and just as happy soaking up affection from her people. With love, guidance, and consistency, she’ll make an amazing lifelong companion.

More about this shelter
Norman Animal Welfare is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Norman, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Norman and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public microchipping, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We average approximately 3,400 animals in and out of our facility each year. We have an amazing facility that fully opened in 2016. We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
