Is this winter weather giving you the blues? Well don’t worry, maybe Nimbus can help cheer you up! Don’t let his permanent pouty face fool you, he is actually a happy guy. This gentleman is polite with his interactions. He enjoys gentle pets and could sit and purr with his people as long as they want him there. He’s a touch shy when meeting new people, but no worries. Just let him sniff your hand for a minute then he’ll be head bumping and soliciting attention in no time.
This little guy is daintily playful with toys and other cats. He doesn’t need to be the life of the party, he’s just happy to be included. Nimbus is a soft talker. He likes to coo, trill, and let out little meows when he’s happy. He also gets hard at work making those biscuits. Nimbus puts in a lot of overtime showing his appreciation for attention.
Nimbus could potentially go to many different kinds of homes. Nimbus loves other cats, so much so that we believe he would be happier with a kitty friend. Nimbus met the foster family’s dog, and while it wasn’t his favorite thing, he tolerated the interaction. He might be able to coexist with another cat-savvy canine friend with proper introductions. Nimbus also impressively passed his crash course in “Toddler 101”, even though toddlers don’t exactly fit his quiet personality.
Nimbus is about 8 months old. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you want a kitty that is not only as light has a cloud but soft and fluffy like one too, then don’t pass up on your opportunity for Nimbus!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
