Sherman entered the Humane Society of Imperial County as a stray, and sadly, he wasn't claimed. We welcomed him a Frosted Face on January 10th. Sherman is estimated to be 8 years old and weighs 13 lbs.
Sherman went on a Frosted Field Trip, so we could learn more about him in a home environment. His foster mom shared this rave review:
"Sherman is a GEM!
🐾 He loves to give kisses and sleeps next to me on the couch and bed but will also curl up on his dog bed.
🐾He is just the right amount of spunkiness! He will nap but also gets the occasional zoomies and enjoys going for walks.
🐾 He’s great on a leash and in the car! He has the cutest little trot. (See video.)
🐾 He has done well meeting small and large dogs and is pretty good with my cats. He was completely ignoring my cats the first night but is feeling more confident now and has tried to hump my cats a few times but stops when you tell him no.
🐾 Sherman has been pretty quiet so far, except for barking at someone who walked by when we were parked in the car and he barked at the delivery person at the door (fair enough!).
🐾 Sherman went to Petsmart, and the groomer said he did great for his bath and brushout!
🐾 I left him alone in a crate for a few hours and monitored him via pet cam, and I never heard him make a peep."
