This helps Rescue Me Georgia, INC with pet care costs.
Meet Courie!
Is this not the most adorable little girl?!?! She’s an extra special girl, looking for an extra special home!
Courie - pronounced KUR•eee and short for “Courage - is a 1(ish) yr old Schnauzer mix. Courie was found running scared down Peachtree Industrial Rd in Atlanta. Shelter staff quickly realized that she would not handle a crazy shelter environment very well and so reached out to RMG so she could get into a foster home. It took a few weeks of being absolutely terrified, but once Courie started to decompress we finally got to see glimpses of her amazing personality!
Courie LOVES to play with friends - her current foster bestie is Huxley! She will definitely need a more confident playful dog in her forever home to play with and to help her continue to build confidence. One fear Courie is still working on conquering, though, is her fear of men so she will need an all female household - one that is calm and patient, and has experience with timid/fearful dogs. We know this might seem like a bit of a unicorn situation, but Courie deserves nothing but the best and so we are off in search of the best for her!
