Meet Loki: A Brave Survivor in Need of a Loving Home
Loki is a vibrant young dog with a spirit as bright as his beautiful, shiny red coat. At just over a year old, he weighs 40 pounds and is a picture of health, having received all his vaccines. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is heartworm negative, making him ready for a forever home.
Personality and Training
Loki is a smart and obedient boy who walks well on a leash. He is also crate trained, ensuring he is comfortable and secure in a variety of settings. Loki loves spending time in a fenced yard, where he can safely enjoy the outdoors. His friendly nature shines through in his interactions with children and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to any family.
A Story of Resilience
Loki's journey hasn't been easy. He was rescued from an abusive situation where his owner beat him when drunk as well as his sister, Freya. Fortunately, Freya has already found a loving home in Canada. Loki's resilience and loving nature are a testament to his strength and spirit.
Urgent Need for a Safe Haven
Currently residing at BMAR, Loki is seeking either a foster or a permanent adopter who can provide the love and security he deserves. Due to his friendly demeanor, there is an urgent need to find him a safe home to prevent him from being stolen and potentially used as a bait dog, a terrible fate for such a gentle soul.
How You Can Help
By opening your heart and home to Loki, you will not only be giving him a chance at a happy life but also protecting him from harm. Loki's story is one of hope and resilience, and with your help, it can have a happy ending. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Loki, please reach out to BMAR. He is waiting for someone to show him the love and care he so richly deserves.
