My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Little Girl was brought in by their previous owner on January 11, 2026.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Little Girl! Little Girl came into our care with her brother, Little Boy (AID 919929). While they are not technically considered a bonded pair, they have always lived together, sleep together, and are most comfortable in each other's company-so we would love to see them adopted into the same home. Little Girl is the more confident of the two and enjoys being pet. As she transitions into a new home, she will benefit from a safe, quiet space-such as a cozy bedroom-where she can acclimate at her own pace. Cat toys, a cat tree, and plenty of yummy treats are all big yeses for helping her feel comfortable and happy. If you're looking to welcome a sweet, confident kitty who comes with a built-in best friend, Little Girl (and Little Boy!) may be the perfect match. Make sure to bring a carrier or two, for a safe travel home!

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
