My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a new best friend with the most expressive features you’ve ever seen?

Prance is famous for having the absolute best ears in town—they practically have their own hilarious personalities and move with every sound he hears! His fur is incredibly soft, like a velvet cloud, and he is officially ready for a lifetime of cozy pets and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a professional cuddle buddy, look no further; Prance is an expert snuggler who thrives on human affection.

This smart husky mix born in October, is a quick learner who picks up new manners in a flash! While he is already super close to being a total pro, he’ll just need a little patient guidance to perfect his potty training and kennel routine in his new home. Once he’s settled, he’ll be more than ready to hit the pavement and start working on his leash skills for neighborhood strolls. ‍ Rest assured, Prance is already current on vaccines and microchipped, and he even has his neuter appointment on the books. He’s the full package and just needs a forever home to share his love with!

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
