Meet Bob, our low key big boy!

Bob is a 4-year-old yellow retriever mix (or at least thats our best guess!) who tips the scales at a solid 87 pounds. Yes, this big boy has clearly been well loved and hes every bit as sweet as he is substantial.

Bob is a low-key kind of guy who just wants to be near his people. He is good with kids, cats, dogs and knows the ropes of being in a home. His temporary foster family has kids cats and dogs and gave Bob glowing reviews!! He enjoys attention, loves treats (a little too enthusiastically, so gentle treat manners are something hes still working on), and knows how to sit. Bob also walked beautifully on leash and absolutely melted when he was brushed.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
