Say hello to Sprinkle, a speckled girl with lots of love and lots of tort-itude! Sprinkle is THE BEST and she wants everyone to know it. And she’s right, so who are we to deny her all the pets, treats, and toys she could want? Seriously, though, this tortie girl gets 5 stars in our book. She’s a champion at snuggles, purrs, zoomies, exploration, and sass.
Her day starts with a (perfectly reasonable?) wakeup call to foster mom around 3am, 5am, and 7am to sit on her head and stick her nose in her ear to purr as loud as she can. After mom finally gets up (a few hours later), it’s time to engage airplane ears and zoom around until she (finally, it’s been like 5 whole minutes) notices that the food bowl could use a top-off. The rest of the morning and afternoon are spent alternately napping, playing with her foster siblings, Nugget and Nott, chirping at mom or dad, and curling up in their lap for snuggles. In the evening it’s time for zoomies again and then giving mom and dad “the look” if they don’t head to bed on time. Maybe a polite nip or two to make sure they get the message. Due to her social nature, she would do best adopted with a friend or into a home that already has another cat.
Sprinkle’s foster parents absolutely adore her. Sprinkle endlessly tolerates being scooped up for kisses and rewards with a ready purr motor. She loves to be a part of everything, and exploring whatever her humans do. She even follows them into the shower! It’s also why she sits on their heads (we hope) - she just wants to be as close to them as possible.
Sprinkle is about 6 months old and is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
