Meet Carmilla!

Carmilla is our reserved girl. She likes to hang back and watch everyone else before joining in. Unlike the character she's named for (also from Castlevania), Carmilla is a total sweetie. She loves snuggles and crinkle toys, and she especially loves her bonito fish flakes!

When she isn't doing parkour around the kitten cage, Carmilla is usually snuggling with her brother, Scrimp, in one of the hammocks. Carmilla lives with a small dog and gets along well with him- she loves to bat at his tail. She likes other cats and has been exposed to larger dogs, though sometimes she's nervous about them. She would do well in a home with other cats (perhaps she can go home with Scrimp if you don't have a resident cat?!), dogs, and children (with proper introductions of course!).

Carmilla is 5 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're looking for a sweet natured kitten, consider adopting Carmilla today!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.
Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.
Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.
Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.
