Meet Bagherra — lovingly known as Baggie Baggie is an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with soulful eyes and the sweetest, gentlest heart. She was pulled from the City of Troy pound alongside another dog, Sher Khan (who has since been adopted ??), and the two calmly walked into the shelter together — a quiet moment that perfectly reflected Baggie’s peaceful nature. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Baggie is a laid-back, affectionate girl who truly enjoys the company of people and other dogs. She has also not shown aggression toward cats, making her a wonderful candidate for many types of homes. When Baggie arrived, she was in rough shape, but with consistent care and lots of TLC, she is healing more each day. She is currently being treated for skin allergies and is responding well to treatment. She is currently healing from a mass removal, these masses were found in mammary chain. As she is recovering, what Baggie needs most is a foster home where she can rest, decompress, and feel safe instead of spending her days in a kennel. What we love about Baggie: Walks nicely on leash Sweet, gentle, and people-oriented Does well with other dogs No aggression shown towards cats. A total foodie (treats are the way to her heart!)
Baggie deserves a soft place to land where her golden years can be filled with comfort, patience, and love. If you can foster or would like more information about helping Baggie while her medical plan moves forward, please reach out to PAC. Let’s give this beautiful girl the peace, care, and companionship she so deeply deserves.
