My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Basil

Basil came in as a stray on 1/13/26 and is estimated to be about 5 years old. He is a cheerful, always-smiling guy with classic beagle charm and curiosity. If there’s a scent in the air, Basil is already on the case.

Basil is delightfully easy to distract—his nose tends to lead the way, and every smell feels like an important discovery. He has a very strong appreciation for hot dogs, and while they hold his full attention, once they’re gone he’s happily off to investigate whatever catches his interest next. His happy-go-lucky nature makes him endlessly entertaining.

Basil is ready to find a home that enjoys a dog with personality, curiosity, and a love for life’s little (and tasty) distractions.
