My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ziva, a sweet, gentle, and shy puppy who’s looking for a patient family to help her feel safe and loved. She is a 7 month old, mixed breed who is 28 pounds. Ziva can be a bit unsure in new situations, but with just a little time to settle in, her snuggly side shines. Once she warms up, her favorite thing is to tuck herself between your legs or lean right up against you for pets — it’s her signature move and the cutest way she asks for affection.

Ziva loves other dogs and feels more confident when she has canine friends around. She also did wonderfully with children at a recent adoption event. In a home with kids, she would do best with those who can be patient and respectful of her space as she gets comfortable.

Ziva is also house trained and does an excellent job keeping a clean kennel, which makes her easy to manage as she settles into a new routine.

Because she startles easily, Ziva will require a securely fenced yard. She may run if spooked, so a safe outdoor space is essential for her.

Ziva is ready to blossom in a home that can offer her reassurance, kindness, and a little time to settle in. With patience and love, she will reward her family with endless sweetness and the most heart-melting snuggles.

Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
