My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Henry

Henry is a sweet, affectionate boy with a lot to say! He loves to talk and will happily chirp at you until you inevitably give him the attention he’s hoping for. Once you start petting him, he’s in heaven—after a while, he’ll even roll onto his tummy in pure contentment.

Henry is a big fan of comfort and always appreciates having a cozy cat bed available. It’s his safe place, where he can curl up, relax, and recharge. When he’s not lounging, he enjoys spending time with his people and soaking up all the love he can get.

He does wonderfully with other cats and is also great with kids, making him a fantastic addition to a variety of homes. If you’re looking for a chatty, loving companion with a gentle soul, Henry might just be your perfect match.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
