Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tulip is as sweet and beautiful as her name is. She loves to roll around on her back and play with every toy she can get her paws on. She makes the cutest noises when she wants your attention.
She like to be cuddled and picked up but will need a little time to warm up. Once she is comfortable she seeks out attention and looks to be laying right next to you or another one of her animal friends.
Tulip has lived with other cats and dogs previously and would likely get along with another animals with slow and proper introductions.
Tulip is spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up to date on vaccines.
If you are interested in meeting Tulip, please fill out an application on our website today, or head to the Chuck & Don's in Savage and ask a store associate for more information.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
