Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hanna!
Hanna is a beautiful brown and white tabby girl, about 3 years old, with a heart as sweet as her purr.
She’s a true expert biscuit maker and can’t resist the magic of catnip! Friendly and social, Hanna loves being around people and is always ready to make a new best friend.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who enjoys cuddles and connection, Hanna is your girl. 🐾💛
Hanna has lived with other cats before and would likely get along with other cats with slow and proper introductions, we aren't sure about dogs!
Hanna is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, FeLV/FIV negative, and up to date on vaccinations.
If you are interested in meeting Hanna, please fill out an application on our website today, or head to the Chuck & Don's in Rosemount and ask a store associate for more information.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
