My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fancy Man! And yes, he lives up to the name. 🖤🤍

Fancy Man is a striking black-and-white gentleman tipping the scales at a solid 14 pounds of pure hunk. He’s a confident adult cat with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This guy is super lovable and proudly over-the-top affectionate. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, Fancy Man is your guy.

He loves to explore his surroundings, check out new spaces, and then return for plenty of cuddles and attention. Fancy Man thrives on human companionship and will happily remind you that petting time is always a good idea. He’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home with his presence alone.

If you’re searching for a handsome, affectionate companion who’s equal parts explorer and lovebug, Fancy Man is ready to sweep you off your feet.

Fancy Man is FIV positive which is very common in outdoor community cats but don't worry - Fancy Man can live a very normal life including living with other kitties. Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
