My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clay — a busy, adventurous Aussie boy discovering how fun life can be! 🐶✨
Clay came to NTASR as a breeder surrender and is still learning how to be a dog — including how to play with others and explore the world around him. And let’s just say… he’s taking his new role very seriously. 😉
Clay is crate trained, potty trained, and housetrained — a great foundation for his forever home. He’s confident, curious, clever, and full of enthusiasm, always on the move and eager to see what’s next.
This busy boy LOVES his toys and bones and has a talent for getting into just about everything — toilet paper, shoes, cords (nothing is safe from Clay’s curiosity!). He thrives with enrichment, playtime, and supervision to keep his clever brain busy.
One of Clay’s favorite games is being chased — especially when it’s bedtime and he knows it’s time to go in his crate. After a little fun, he’ll either roll over for you to scoop him up or happily walk right into his crate like the good boy he is.
Clay is playful, independent, communicative, and full of personality. With continued structure, patience, and plenty of outlets for his energy, he’s going to make an amazing companion for an active, loving family.

Go meet their pets

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.

All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.

All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
