Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Diego! 🖤
Diego is a charming older kitten (around 6 months to 1 year) with a sleek black coat and a heart full of love. Sweet, playful, independent, and delightfully goofy, he brings the perfect mix of kitten energy and gentle affection. He loves belly rubs, adores being picked up, and has a special talent for turning everyday moments into cuddle sessions—so much so that getting photos of him is a challenge because he’s always snuggling!
Diego has medium energy and is happiest chasing wand toys and plush balls. He’s even started playing a little game of fetch on his own. When he’s not playing, you’ll find him napping in a sunny bed or parked right at your feet while you work from home. He’s fully litter trained and wonderfully easygoing.
He gets along great with other cats and tolerates dogs. While he hasn’t met kids in our care, his calm, affectionate nature and love of attention suggest he’d do well in a lively household. Diego would enjoy a home with another young, playful cat, but he’d also be happy as a solo star.
If you’re looking for an adaptable, affectionate companion who will make biscuits on your socks while you cook dinner, Diego might just be your perfect match.
I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.
Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
