Leroy is an 8-year-old Cavachon weighing 30 pounds. He’s the kind of dog who already knows how to be a very good companion. He came into rescue as an owner surrender after being loved and well cared for his entire life. As their family grew busier with young children and demanding schedules, Leroy simply needed a home where he could get more attention and be part of daily life.
Leroy loves people—both children and adults—and thrives on companionship. He’s a friendly guy who enjoys cuddles, walks, and just being near his favorite humans. He really enjoys running and sniffing around in a fenced yard.
Leroy was an only dog at his former home. He has done great with other dogs at his foster home. Leroy is both house trained and kennel trained. That said, he would not be happy being left alone for a full workday. Leroy prefers to be where his people are and thrives in a home with someone around more often than not.
He loves walks, playtime, and being included in family life. Leroy isn’t demanding, he just wants to belong and share in the everyday moments.
Medically, Leroy has a history of pancreatitis, which is well managed with a low-fat diet. His veterinary records also note possible seasonal allergies, and as a hypoallergenic dog, he will require regular grooming to stay comfortable and looking his best.
Leroy is searching for a home that values companionship, routine, and together time. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle dog who loves people, enjoys children, and wants to be by your side through walks, snuggles, and quiet evenings, Leroy may be the perfect addition to your family.
Leroy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
