Ducky is a 30-pound, one year old mystery mutt with a personality as big as his curiosity. He wandered into rescue after following a mail carrier (because apparently, that’s how all the coolest dogs find their way to us). His DNA? A complete enigma. One vet guessed German Jagdterrier, which sounds fancy and scary—but honestly, we’re still trying to figure out what that even means. Whatever he is, he’s perfect.
Ducky is a good little guy who gets along with other dogs and cats.. He loves to play, chase toys, and perform professional-grade zoomies in a fenced yard. He’s a true athlete… as long as it’s not freezing outside. Cold weather? Not his thing. Luckily, Ducky is more than willing to rock a sweater like a canine fashion icon when the temps drop.
He’s house trained, smart, and knows how to be a polite member of the family.
Ducky is looking for a home with a fenced yard, some playful companions, and someone ready to embrace his mysterious heritage, his love of zoomies, and his impeccable sweater game. If you’re ready for a dog who’s equal parts goofy, lovable, and slightly baffling, Ducky is your guy
Ducky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
If you’d like to meet Ducky, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org.
