Chiquita is a cute male kitten who was surrendered by his owner to the HSOV on September 11, 2025 along with his brother (Shrimp) and their mother (Queen). Chiquita and Shrimp were tiny 4 week old babies at that time. Sadly, Shrimp passed away on October 21, 2025.
Chiquita has a gray tabby short smooth coat with white markings on his chest/belly/legs, a long ringed tail, and an adorable tabby/white face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Chiquita was separated from his mother Queen after she was spayed in October 2025 and was adopted in November 2025. Chiquita is sharing a cage with another young kitten (Wasp) so that they may provide comfort/security and companionship for each other.
Chiquita was given first vaccinations on October 18, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on November 6th and November 22nd 2025. Chiquita weighed 1.8 lbs on November 22nd.
These photos were taken on January 31, 2026 when HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton lovingly carried Chiquita and his best friend (Wasp) into our 'studio' for their photo sessions. Chiquita and Wasp have sweet, playful personalities and dearly love each other.
Chiquita will be neutered (tentative in February 2026) and will soon be ready to go home with his new family.
Happy Update: Chiquita and Wasp have approved adoption applications and will be adopted together after they are neutered/spayed.
