Dirt Pudding is an awesome 5-month old kitty who was brought to the HSOV on November 24, 2025 along with his equally awesome brother (Gummy Worm) because their family had been displaced from their home and could no longer care for their beloved pets.
This good-looking young man has a dark brown short smooth coat in a tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with dark golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Dirt Pudding was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on November 24, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on December 11, 2025.
These photos of Dirt Pudding were taken on January 31, 2026 when HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied Dirt Pudding and his brother Gummy Worm into our 'studio'. Both of these magnificent boys were in the height of their glory and were quite the entertainers. Dirt Pudding turned on his charming, outgoing personality and also displayed his athletic ability .. He delighted in bungee jumping from the countertop, and he didn't even need any cord (smile). Gotta love a kitty who is the life of the party!
Dirt Pudding and Gummy Worm have shared a large cage since the first day they entered our shelter, and they are definitely a dynamic duo who entertain everyone (and each other). They are currently in a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room (where most of our adoptable cats are housed).
Dirt Pudding will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on February 9, 2026) and will soon be ready to find his forever home. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with his brother Gummy Worm.
