Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Susan From Accounting! Susan from Accounting is the quiet, detail-oriented professional of the feline world. She keeps a low profile, prefers her own workspace and likes to observe before making a move-no loud meetings or sudden surprises, please. Susan isn't a fan of busy households and prefers low-pressure interactions-think quiet handouts or bribes with treats-allowing her to connect on her own terms. Her ideal setup is a private "office" with plenty of hiding spots, food, water and a litter box-everything she needs to feel safe and comfortable. Once she's settled, Susan from Accounting will happily take her time auditing her surroundings, filing naps in the coziest corners, and quietly keeping the office running... her way. Don't forget a secure hard-sided plastic carrier-after all, even top accountants need a safe ride to the office.

Shy/Fearful Cat:  Susan From Accounting requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
