My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna, a striking black and white kitty who just arrived from Los Angeles and is ready to find a forever home in San Francisco. With bright gold eyes, a crisp white chest and little white paws, Luna looks like a tiny night sky with a perfect splash of moonlight.

New places can be a lot at first, but Luna is already showing that curious, brave spark that makes a new arrival so fun to get to know. Offer a gentle hello, a calm space and a little time to settle, and Luna will be on the way to becoming the kind of companion who makes your home feel instantly warmer.

If you have been hoping for a sweet new best friend to share cozy evenings, sunny windows and foggy SF mornings, come meet Luna and see if this moonlit beauty is meant to be part of your family.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
