My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mama, a very sweet tabby girl who made the trip from Baldwin Park, Los Angeles and is now ready to find her forever home in San Francisco. With her soft stripes, bright eyes, and that classic “I have seen a lot but I am still gentle” expression, Mama has the kind of presence that instantly makes you want to slow down and say hello.

Mama is the comforting type, the kitty who brings a calm, steady vibe to a room and makes you feel like you are already part of her inner circle. She is affectionate, easy to love, and would be thrilled to trade shelter life for a warm lap, a sunny window, and a family that will spoil her the way she deserves.

If you have been hoping for a sweet, soulful companion who will make your home feel more peaceful from day one, come meet Mama and welcome this Baldwin Park beauty to SF.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
