My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Trigg 🐾
Trigg’s story is one of patience, kindness, and hope.
On January 29th, during the brutal snow and ice storm in Memphis, Trigg was found abandoned sitting next to a telephone pole. A train conductor spotted him there alone, covered in ice, and quietly waiting for help and posted his location asking for someone to rescue him. Despite the dangerous conditions, help came. With roads icy and boarding facilities closed, even getting Trigg to safety was a challenge. A kind neighbor stepped up and drove Trigg’s rescuer through treacherous conditions so he wouldn’t be left behind.
With nowhere else to go during the storm, Memphis Animal Services contacted Trigg’s rescuer and offered to keep him safe until the weather passed. Thanks to teamwork and compassion, Trigg made it through the storm and is now safe in boarding.
Now it’s time for Trigg’s next chapter. He needs a foster home so he can be neutered, start training, and get ready for his forever family.
Trigg is a big, lovable goofball with endless cuddles and kisses to give. He has shown no aggression or reactivity toward other dogs or humans just a friendly, happy guy who wants connection. He doesn’t appear to be housebroken yet, so he’ll need a foster or adopter with patience and experience to help him learn and thrive.
Trigg survived the cold, the ice, and being left behind. What he needs now is warmth, stability, and someone willing to show him that he’s finally home. ❤️
