Meet Luke, a handsome gentleman with a gentle soul and a heart full of affection. Luke is sweet and friendly by nature, though he may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Once he warms up, however, Luke truly blossoms into an open, loving companion who enjoys connection and companionship. His calm, thoughtful approach makes his affection feel extra special, and he would thrive in a patient, caring home that's willing to let him set the pace as he settles in and shows his wonderful personality.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
