My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bolt and Ted, a bonded duo from Shasta County looking for a forever home together. They are sisters from different mothers, bonded by heart, and they make an adorable team. Bolt is 2 years old and Ted is 1, and both girls bring that gentle, soft spoken sweetness that feels like a warm blanket once they feel safe.

Right now, both are on the shy side as they adjust to a new environment. They may hang back at first, watch you from a cozy spot, and take their time deciding when they are ready to say hello. Quiet voices, slow movements, and letting them set the pace will go a long way. The best part is they help each other feel brave, and you will often find them close together, sharing comfort and confidence like true best friends.

If you are looking for two tender companions who will blossom with patience, Bolt and Ted are ready to trade shelter life for a calm home, soft blankets, sunny windows, and a person who will love them at their own pace.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
