My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mataeo is a friendly girl ready for her forever lap! She loves snuggles from anyone and everyone, as she sees even strangers as friends she just hasn’t met yet. Everyone is met at the door with trills and chirps, and little paw taps for more pets. When she’s not sleeping in your lap, Mataeo loves to bask in a sunbeam or watch “Cat TV.” At two years old, Mataeo still has plenty of energy and loves to run, jump and pounce!

Mataeo isn’t a fan of loud noises, or beef stroganoff, but gets over her fears quickly! She tolerates being held, which makes her easy to get into a carrier. Mataeo would thrive in an environment full of playtime, attention and plenty of lap time!

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You can submit an application anytime and receive an auto response with instructions. It is first come first served for in person adoptions.

2.
Submit Application

Our application creates your profile in our system and tells us a little about you.

3.
Interview

Our interview is an open discussion about everything we know about the pet and how it matches to your family and expectations.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

You will use your mobile phone (or our computers) to sign the adoption contract.

5.
Pay Fee

You will use your phone (or our computers) to pay any adoption fees. Credit/Debit cards only we do not accept cash or check.

6.
Take the Pet Home

We are able to send most pets home the same day as their interview. If they still need to have spay/neuter surgery it will be scheduled ASAP

Before you Arrive:

Make sure your apartment is pet-friendly. Check with your landlord about pet policies.

To make the adoption process go a little quicker, here's a list of what to bring:

-An ID with current residence, or proof of residence if it is out of date.
- Any family members or roommates to meet the animals
