Meet Tye - Breed: anyone's guess. Vibe: professional lap goblin.
Tye is a (probably?) miniature schnauzer/shih tzu/brussel's griffon/terrier/wookie mix...we think. Honestly, we have no idea this is the best we can do. What we DO know is that he looks like Chewbacca shrunk in the wash and was brought back to life with pure joy.
He's playful, spunky, and fully convinced that any and all laps should be available to him at all times. He'll happily bounce around for playtime, then immediately clock back in for his true calling: being a warm, fuzzy, cuddly attention enthusiast.
Despite his wookie exterior, Tye is sweet, affectionate and thrives on human companionship. He's tolerant of other dogs, so would be open to meeting a buddy, but is also a little judgmental of potential canine friends. He's the kind of dog who will follow you around like a tiny, bearded shadow and then dramatically collapse into your lap like he's completed a long, heroic journey (from the couch.)
If you're looking for a dog that's equal parts playful sidekick and cuddle connoisseur - and don't mind explaining to strangers that no, he's not actually in Star Wars, Tye is ready to go home with you.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214.
