My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Martin, a handsome brown tabby with big, expressive eyes and the kind of classic stripes that never go out of style. Martin is the classic lap cat, the type who thinks your knees were designed for one purpose and one purpose only: cozy snuggles. This sweet guy is affectionate, people oriented, and always down to settle in close for quality time. Expect soft purrs, sweet little head bumps, and that irresistible tabby charm that makes you want to cancel your plans and stay put.

One more thing to love about Martin: he is FIV+, which just means his immune system likes a little extra TLC and a calm, comfy routine. Plenty of FIV+ cats live long, happy lives, and Martin is ready to do exactly that with a family who wants a champion snuggler and a true best friend. If you are looking for a true cuddle pro with a very boopable nose, come meet Martin and see if your lap has been missing its rightful owner.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
