My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roman, a black and white sweetheart with a one of a kind detail that feels like it was placed there on purpose: a little heart on his foot. Yes, really. Roman literally leaves love marks wherever he goes, and honestly, that is the exact kind of energy we all need.

Roman is not wearing a tuxedo, he is rocking a more casual, perfectly mismatched black and white look, like he woke up, chose comfort and still ended up adorable. Whether he is padding around the room, settling in for a cozy nap, or trotting over to see what you are up to, Roman brings sweet, warm Valentine’s Day vibes all year long.

If you have been waiting for a cat who is basically a walking Valentine, come meet Roman and let this heart-footed charmer stroll right into your life.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
