My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jet, a sleek black newcomer from Shasta County with a shiny coat, bright curious eyes, and serious “house panther in training” energy. Jet just arrived and is still getting the lay of the land, but there is already something special about this kitty. Calm, observant, and quietly charming, Jet has the kind of presence that makes a room feel a little more magical.

Jet is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home, soft blankets, and a person who appreciates a cat with star quality. Whether it is supervising your daily routine from a nearby perch or gliding over for some gentle affection, Jet is the type of companion who makes everything feel a little calmer and a lot more fun. If you have been hoping for a stylish sidekick with a velvet-black coat and a sweet soul, come meet Jet and see if this Shasta County beauty is your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
