Have you ever met a dog who just needed a minute...and maybe a tennis ball? Meet Nutmeg - our stunning brindle beauty with soulful eyes and a heart that's just waiting for the right person to unlock it.
Nutmeg can be a little shy when you first meet her. She's the kind of girl who likes to scope things out, take a breath, and make sure you pass the vibe check. But the second you produce a ball? Game on. Suddenly, she's all wiggles, zoomies and laser-focused enthusiasm. Tennis ball? Yes. Squeaky ball? Absolutely. ANY round object rolling toward her? Playtime!
This sweet little girl came to us with skin that needed a little TLC, but she's well on the mend and feeling better every day. As her coat heals, her playful personality shines brighter and brighter. Underneath the gorgeous brindle exterior is a soft, snuggly soul who would love nothing more than to curl up next to her person after a good play session.
Nutmeg is looking for a patient, loving home that understands that the best things in life take a little bit of time. Give her a moment to warm up, chuck her a ball, and you'll have a cuddly, loyal, goofy best friend for life.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214.
